Both knives have handles made of deer hide with the hair still attached and shaped like a deers hove. The blades are made of stainless steel. They both have finger guards on them and the blades go all the way though the handles. The large knife is shaped like a bowie knife. 

Although all items are double wraped with heavy duty bubble wrap even the unbreakables it is up to the customer to opt for insurance.
